Dev Update 13

Latest update in a while, but don't worry, we are still here.

We've been busy since The Print Show, and have got some major new developments under way...

This one has been in the pipeline for way too long but was held back by the complete overhaul to V3, however, it is now nearing fruition.

It's not quite ready yet as we have got to wheedle out all the permutations and naming conventions provided by the suppliers by should be ready in the next few weeks.

This one is a much bigger beast. The Orders section is huge and encompasses the quoting system, purchase orders, supplier order integration, amongst other things.

But, whilst we plough on with the development of this here's a screenshot to whet your appetite.

We had a lot of positive conversations with people at The Print Show and some of the things to come out of it are integrations with suppliers and services that will allow VB Media to be even more connected.

We will announce more as the relationships develop and work begins, so watch this space... well, not this space, it'll probably be in another blog article in all honesty, but you get the point.

• Front End - fixed a bug where the main padding was not being applied on the call to action 
• Front End - fixed a bug that prevented decimal numbers being placed in the width and height when using the calculator on material items
• Front End - fixed a by that prevented the sizes A0, A1, A2, A3 and A4 from appearing when 'Paper Sizes' was selected as the scale
• Front End - added the ability to flip the orientation of paper sizes 
• Front End - fixed a bug on the slider which prevented the 'previous' and 'next ' buttons from working
• Front End - fixed a bug which caused an error on checkout if the customer had a an active credit account
• Front End - fixed the delivery and billing details not pre-filling when the customer was logged in
• Front End - fixed a bug that would generate and assign a new order number to users who add a product to their basket and then immediately enter a discount code, which in turn caused the basked to appear empty
• Front End - updated the css to correctly reflect drop down sub navigation groups that only have one level 
• Front End - fixed an issue where the blog/news default page would not show any articles if 'news' was selected for the labelling
• Front End - fixed a bug which displayed the incorrect image resolution on the grid, 3 column layout for call to action groups
• Front End - improved the layout of the 3 column layout for grid-style layouts when being viewed on devices below 576px in width
• Front End - redirect on the path '/pages/contact' to '/contact' to prevent duplicate content
• Front End - fixed a bug that prevented the testimonials request page from displaying
• Front End - updated slider to utilise images based on media queries so as to provide a more appropriate resolution
• Front End - removed the 'a' tag from the slider images when no link has been provided
• Front End - fixed a bug that was forcing the image to break outside of it's container in the footer when the image width exceeded the set height
• Front End - fixed a bug that would prevent the main logo from displaying correctly on mobile devices when using an SVG
• Admin Area - fixed a bug which meant that the buttons in the text elements of text sections would try to show if they had a size applied but were still set to hidden
• Admin Area - fixed a bug on the Slider Manager which was causing the slides to re-order in a non-intended way when dragging to re-order
• Admin Area - fixed a bug that caused an error when trying to apply a credit account to a customer record
• Admin Area -  turned off the 'pre-header info bar' by default
• Admin Area - added 'primary', 'secondary' and 'tertiary' as colour options for the 'pre-header info bar'
• Admin Area - updated the add slide image script to include data that is required for media query images to be enabled on the front end
• Admin Area - fixed a series of bugs that was preventing customers from being activated when account activation is required
• Admin Area - fixed a bug that prevented the ability to remove downloads from products
