Dev Update 12

It has been fairly quiet on the development front (with the exception of a few minor bugs and behind-the-scenes updates) as we continue to prepare for the Print Show in September.

Probably the biggest news is that VB Media Version 3 is out of 'Beta' and now in 'General Release'.

This means that all new sites are created in V3 as well as it now becomes our main focal-point for marketing,

We will be releasing a new site shortly prior to, or even on the first day of, the Print Show 2022. We have some imagery that we want to show off... but not too early.

With the large volumes of sites that we have, migrations are not a super-quick process.

And with the complete restructure of the page data, it is not something that can be easily automated, especially when you throw in a site 'refresh' in some instances, as well.

However, even with all this, we now have 20% of sites now live on Version 3.

• Front End - fixed a bug which was causing the basket to cache thus preventing any new items that were added from appearing in the basket
• Front End - fixed a bug that in some instances prevented the ability to 'checkout'
• Front End - fixed a bug that prevented the map from loading on the contact page, if the marker was a light or dark version of any of the colours
• Front End - fixed a bug that caused a page which had a call to action to error when certain settings were selected
• Front End - css improvements for the call to action, call to action groups as well as the base css file 
• Admin Area - css improvements for the call to action, call to action groups as well as the front-end base css files utilised by the page editor
