It all started as a simple idea; The Directors of Venture Banners had decided early on that they only wanted to supply large format print to the Print Trade. They didn’t think that playing both sides of the fence and competing against their own customer base by trying to sell to end users was the right thing to do.
But they also understood that to make that work, they needed to give their Print Trade Customers all of the tools they needed to sell large format print.
They started by making prices only available to logged in customers, alleviating the spectre of end users finding the same prices. Then, by including profit potentials on the product pages of their website, so that trade customers would understand the margins that could be achieved and charge accordingly.
